Dear Giglio Society Member,
Summer is here and the Giglio Feast in Honor of Sant’Antonio di Padua is only 4 weeks away! This year the Feast will be held from Thursday August 6th through Sunday August 9th 2015.
As you know, the annual Membership Dues is $50.00 per year. In order to make it easier on all our members, we are enclosing a book of 5 Raffle Tickets at $10.00 each, which once sold is applied towards your Membership obligation. The prize is a NIGHT AT RAO’S and this year’s Dinner for Four will be on Tuesday September 22nd 2015. Last Year’s lucky winner was Anthony Repetti.
As you can imagine, a lot of planning, preparation and financing are involved in putting together these great events and we thank everyone for your continued support as the results from years past have been phenomenal. The annual Membership Dues represent a major portion of our fundraising efforts. Therefore, it is extremely important that all members pay their dues in a timely fashion. It is through our combined efforts that we can continue our beautiful tradition of “Dancing the Giglio di Sant’ Antonio”.
We will be hosting our annual Barbeque Saturday August 1st, 2015 and we would appreciate you mailing the book back to us with payment before the barbeque so that we have a complete list of who paid this year’s dues in advance. All our Capo’s & Lieutenant’s will be available at the Barbeque to collect dues, sign up new members and distribute Shirts to all paid members. Please send your Dues and Raffle Stubs to: The Giglio Society of East Harlem, PO Box 1025, Bronx, NY 10465. Please make out all checks or money orders Payable to: GIGLIO SOCIETY of EAST HARLEM. Feast Posters will also be available at the Barbeque.
