Greetings from your Brothers in The Giglio Society of East Harlem to Comitato Gioventu’

On this Italian National holiday (Festa Della Repubblica) a day of immense pride for all the people of Italy when the citizens of Italia started a new government in 1946, The Giglio Society of East Harlem congratulates you on this milestone.

On behalf of the Board of Directors of the Giglio Society of East Harlem along with all its members and this year’s #1 Capo Paranza Frankie Bracco we would like to congratulate Giglio Gioventu’ Capo Paranza Angelo “O’Piscatore” Mocerino, Municipal City Council President Antonio DiPalma, The Mayor of Brusciano Adv, Giosy Romano and all the organizers and members of the Giglio Della Gioventu’ and all the wonderful people of Brusciano and wish you a most successful “Festa Dei Gigli” in honor of Sant’ Antonio Di Padua this coming August. Your dedication to Sant’ Antonio and “A Festa” is unmatched by anyone! We are honored to be a part of this international tradition that was brought to New York from Brusciano over 100 years ago and is still celebrated by relatives of those pilgrims that left their homeland and families to start a new life in the USA.

Mitch Farbman sends his regards to and best wishes to Giglio Gioventu’ and all its members. I can never thank you enough for the Great Honor you bestowed on me and my family at last years “Festa”. It truly was one of the most important events of my life. To Antonio DiPalma and Angelo “O’Piscatore” Mocerino your dream to build a Bruscianese Giglio in East Harlem has become my dream also. May this dream come to fruition in the near future.

Phil Bruno sends his regards and congratulations to all my friends, family and all members of Giglio Gioventu’. The honor that you showed us at last year’s “Festa” will never be forgotten. We are eternally grateful to you! Have a great feast! Salute’!

We also send our “Best Wishes” for a “Buona Festa” to all the other Gigli Societies, Giglio Passo Veloce,
Giglio Ortolano, Giglio della Croce, Giglio del Sant’ Antonio in Brusciano.

Finally, we extend our Fraternal Embrace to Antonio Castaldo and his entire family. We appreciate the friendship and love you and your family has shown us over the years. You brought us to you family and they also have accepted us as a member. For this we are very grateful!
