The East Harlem Giglio Society regrets to inform all of our members, family and friends about the passing of our beloved Capo Anthony Prisco.
Words cannot express how deeply saddened we all are about this tragic loss. Anthony was truly one of the good ones. His love of the Giglio was by far inspirational to many. We can all remember how Anthony’s smile lit up on Giglio Sunday, how he couldn’t wait for the band to start playing all the music he loved so much to dance the Giglio to. Most of all we can’t forget when he would grace us by singing a song or two. There are so many sweet memories we all had with this amazing man. Anthony’s stories about growing up with all his childhood friends, the happiness he expressed when his kids were getting married, the joy in his heart when he talked about his grandchildren and how much he adored his wife. Family and true friends meant the world to him.
We all know there will for sure be the dancing of the Giglio in the heavens above because Anthony wouldn’t have it any other way.
We ask St. Anthony to please watch over his family, to wrap his arms around them tightly to help them find peace and to get through this devastating loss.
Our deepest heartfelt condolences go out to Debbie, Jennifer, Jackie, Jessica, his sisters Karen and MaryAnn, his brothers in law, sons in law, grandchildren and the entire Prisco family.
We will keep everyone posted about a memorial service once that decision is made by the family.
Sincerely,
The Giglio Society Of East Harlem
